Timeout!
Vaikka viime reissusta ei ole kauaa, tuntuu että tekee ihan hyvää päästä vähän pois näistä ympyröistä. Koulun etsintä ja etenkin valinnan teko siitä mikä olisi itselle se paras vaihtoehto, on alkanut käymään siinä määrin raskaaksi, että olen ihan pääpyörällä.
Niinpä matka alkaa keskiviikkoaamuna. Ensin tiedossa junamatka pääkaupunkiseudulle, jossa olen 2 yötä sukuloimassa ja ehdin nyt onneksi nähdä myös siellä päin asuvia kavereita. Lento Lontooseen lähtee sitten perjantaiaamuna. Lentojen varauksesta ei ole kulunut kuin parisen viikkoa, joten odotusaika on ollut lyhyt ja sunnuntaina tajusinkin, että kohta pitäisi jo alkaa miettimään mitä sitä pakkaa mukaan!
Pakolliset tavarat kuten kamera, kameran- ja kännykän/tabletin laturi jne. ovat niitä pakollisia mukaan otettavia, mutta niiden lisäksi vaatteet ovat yleensä ne mitkä antavat eniten päänvaivaa.
Säätiedote lupaa 10-15 astetta lämmintä Etelä-Englantiin, mutta Englannin lisäksi tarkoitus olisi käydä ainakin Saksassa. Niinpä pakkaaminen tuntuu erittäin hankalalle - etenkin kun pitäisi pärjätä muutama yö vielä Etelä-Suomessakin!
Vaatteiden suhteen koitan pakata aina kappaleita, joita on helppo yhdistellä. Näin saa käyttöön usemman eri lookin helposti. Huvittaa kyllä jälleen vaatekaappini ja mukaan lähtevien vaatteiden värimaailma: ainoat "väriläikät" ovat farkkupaita ja armeijanvirheä pusero!
Mukaan matkalaukkuun valikoitui siis: 2 housut, legginssit, 2 mekkoa, 2 puseroa, neule, pitkä college, 3 hihatonta puseroa, neuletakki ja 2 pitkähihaista paitaa. Näiden lisäksi mukaan otan kahdet kengät, kaksi takkia ja huivia sekä käsilaukun. Sitten vain toivotaan että näillä tarkenee!

Even though it hasn't been that long since my last trip, I feel like it's about time to get away for a while. The school search and especially the choice making has started to become overwhelming.
So, let the new trip begin! On wednesday afternoon I will hop on a train and travel to the South of Finland where I'll spend 2 nights and see some friends and relatives. Flight to London will departure on Friday morning. It's been about 2 weeks when I booked the flights and last Sunday I realized that I should already start thinking about what to pack with me.
The must-have items such as camera and camera's, phone's and tablet's chargers etc. are obvious choices but the thing that gives me headaches are the clothes!
The forecast says it'll be around 10 to 15 degrees Celcius in South of England, but besides England I'm planning to visit some friends in German as well. Visiting multiple places makes it even more difficult to pack clothes, because there can be a remarkable difference between those coutries. And I shouldn't forget that I need to spend 2 days in South of Finland and survive with the same clothes there as well.
I always try to pack clothes that are easy to mix together. This way there's a lot more of outfits than meets the eye. But I can't help but notice the colour sceme of wardrope and in the clothes I've chosen to take with my is quite simple: the only "colourful" things are a denim shirt and a army green blouse!
So what did make it to my luggage? Here's the list: black jeans, black faux leather pants, leggins, 2 dresses, 2 blouses, a knit, long college pullover, 3 sleeveless tops, a cardigan and 2 long sleeve shirts. Also 2 different jackets/coats, 2 shoes and scarfs, and a handbag. Now all I can do is hope that it will be enough!
